Back safe and sound

Well, I am back. Just got done spending a week with 33 youth on a mission trip to Denver, CO. Pictures from the trip are posted in the photo gallery. Over all, it was a good trip. Had the chance to work with in a number of areas in the city with various agencies - Bridge project working with kids, Compa sorting food donated in a food drive, worked in a soup kitchen (preparing food and cleaning up mostly), and working at a Men’s day center.

Sad day for higher education

Word of advice. If your going to write something in cement - be sure to spell it right! The picture below was taken near Camp Randal where the Mechanical Engineering building is under construction. Someone decided to write “Bager Football is #1 baby” in the cement. Of course they can’t even spell Badger right. What’s sad, is not far away is a VERY large sign on the stadium that says “Home of the Wisconsin Badgers”…
